Mark your calendar now!  Plan to attend (or volunteer at!) the third annual Seeing is Believing bus tour on February 9, 2010.  Coordinated by the Junior League of Athens, the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Clarke County School District, you will have the opportunity to spend half a day learning about our public schools and the opportunities and challenges the administrators, teachers, and students face each day.  

So many of our volunteer hours are spent supporting children in Athens-Clarke County – and yet many JLA members have never been into the very schools we support.  This is a great chance to see first-hand some of the youngest people you are helping.
